Musson Jamaica Ltd is one of the largest distributors of commodities in Jamaica, selling large quantities of flour, rice and sugar. From their warehouse location on 385 Spanish Town Road, Musson distributes a large range of products including products manufactured by companies within the group. In addition, it distributes a number of products for companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Salada.

Musson Food Factory

The food factory of Musson Jamaica Ltd. was opened in 1979 when the premises at Marcus Garvey Drive were acquired by the company. The factory has produced a very wide range of canned products over the years, as well as some specialized bottled and packaged products. The mainstay of business has traditionally been a range of European style canned vegetables along with Jamaican fruit juices and drinks.

In recent years Musson has developed an expertise in the development and production of high energy drinks such as Irish Moss and canned milk shakes. This expertise has resulted in a demand for modern sports drinks which have now become a prominent feature of business. The factory supplies Musson distribution companies but primarily contract packs for clients at home and abroad.

Musson Food Factory now includes a bottling plant that produces tomato ketchup and browning for the main brands in Jamaica. This plan has ensured that Musson is now able to produce more efficiently for its customers.

The snack division distributions High-Gate chocolate, and Marlboro cigarettes exclusively across Jamaica.

Musson Plastics Factory

Musson Jamaica Ltd has operated a plastics extrusion plant for a number of years. Pellets are imported from abroad, and extruded in the factory, for a home based plastics market.

The plastics factory of Musson Jamaica Ltd specializes in bread wrappers and plastic bags of all types.
