At its inception, Facey Commodity Co. Ltd. was a small commission agency called Cecil B. Facey Limited, established in 1926 and born of true Jamaican entrepreneurship. It was acquired by the Matalon family in 1962 and was quickly placed among the first three entities within the newly registered ICD Group of Companies.
Presently the company is one of Jamaica's largest retail and distribution enterprises, offering a wide variety of goods and supplies through two divisions: Merchandise and Pharmaceutical.
