Groupo Difoto started operations in Guatemala in 1955, as a trading and distribution company, then called Distributo Fotografica. Difoto is primarily a technology distribution company with operations in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama and El Salvador (the “Territories”). Difoto represents Xerox in all of the Territories and, in addition, represents Kodak, HP, Creo, KPG, Cisco and UPS in Guatemala and Costa Rica. 

Difoto joined the Musson Group in 2006 and fits in with the PBS Group allowing for distribution and warehouse capacity in Central America. The Guatemalan business was awarded the top Latin American/Caribbean distributor by Xerox for 2004. The potential now exists to expand the operations of Groupo Difoto. 

Difoto is an offshore Panamanian IBC. Its subsidiaries are, XPAN (Panama), XICA (Costa Rica), Tradeco (Panama), Broker (BVI) and Distribuidora Fotografica (Guatemala). Distribuidora Fotografica is the Guatemalian holding company for the following legal entities, XGUA (Guatemala), XSAL (El Salvador), CCA (Guatemala), Nefoto (Guatemala).
