Hot Shots Limited started in September 1997 as a 400 square foot 1 Hour Photo store in Sovereign Centre, Kingston, Jamaica.

The company is now in its 9th year of operation and has achieved:

  • 6 retail locations in Kingston, MoBay, Ocho Rios & Negril
  • 15 Hotel/Attraction satellite locations
  • Distributorship for FujiFilm (7 years running), Olympus, Pentax, & Sony to supermarkets, pharmacies & other retail
  • Year 2000 Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Year 2001 Job Creation Award (70 employees)
  • Diversification into Restaurants, Record Production Studio, Sporting Goods Store, Duty Free Store/Gift Shop
  • Main Sponsor for Miss Jamaica Universe, Miss Jamaica World, Jamaica Carnival, The University of the West Indies Graduation Ceremony

Michael Subratie is the Managing Director of Hot Shots Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.

The distribution network includes 5 vehicles & 4 motorcycles which facilitate distribution of goods across the island. The main stores we distribute to include;
